Intro

Taitopia is a cloud-based platform that revolutionizes 3D rendering by providing rapid, photorealistic visualization tools accessible from any device. It supports extensive collaboration and asset management, enabling seamless digital creation and rendering processes.

During my internship at Taitopia, I led the experience design for key features, focusing on the workspace homepage and innovative document management solutions. My role involved crafting user-centered designs, developing high-fidelity prototypes, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of these features into Taitopia’s ecosystem.

The features I designed were integrated into the platform and launched in January 2024, significantly enhancing user interaction and operational efficiency across the system.

Selected Work

01

Scene complexity monitoring & management

Background & Pain points

  1. Users cannot perceive the complexity of their own scenarios and therefore cannot manage resource usage themselves.

  2. When the usage exceeds the limit, users are not given enough feedback.

My role:

UX Designer

02

Workspace revision

Background & Problem

Previously, users logged in and were directed to the files page, which displayed their recently accessed files in order.

  1. The lack of a central homepage makes it difficult for new users to quickly understand the system layout and functions.

  2. It is impossible to select multiple files at a time for operation, which increases repetitive work and affects the efficiency of organization.

  3. The lack of a customizable experience means that users cannot optimize their workspace according to their personal needs, and the file hierarchy is limited.

03

File collaboration & management

Background & Problem

  1. Unable to conveniently share files with other users, resulting in the need to manually send files repeatedly during collaboration, increasing workload.

  2. Users cannot view historical versions of files or restore to previous versions, affecting file management and change tracking.

  3. Users cannot easily restore files to a specific version.
